At Brisbane Smiles, our Patients make payments at the time of treatment. We have a wide selection of payment options and our Treatment Coordinators are able to ensure you are given all options to suit your needs.
We accept payment with Cash, Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard, American Express. We offer an online payment by Visa and Mastercard using our Online Payment Gateway hosted by NAB. We also accept HICAPS payments from all major Australian Health Funds.
Patients may make Online Direct Bank Transfers are available. We recommend making these transfers at least 2 days in advance to avoid treatment delays. Bank details are available by phone.
Our team is able to assist patients who meet criteria to release superannuation on compassionate grounds. Following your Consultation Appointments and once a Treatment Report and Plan is accepted,your Dentist will provide a Superannuation Release Form. You will need to gain a second report from a suitably qualified medical practitioner and then submit forms to your superannuation fund through the Australian Taxation Office. You should seek advice from your accountant and financial advisor before considering release of superannuation.

To comply with Our Practice Policy, Health Fund and Hicaps Agreements,
Out of pocket Payments are required at the time of Preparation for Crowns, and at the time of Final Impressions for Dentures and Splints.
Hicaps Claims for Patients in Health Funds will be made at the Final Insertion Appointment.*
*Where Quote for Health Fund Payment has been obtained and recorded prior to treatment, then only the out-of-pocket amount needs to be paid at the time of preparation/final impressions.
*Where there is no Health Fund, or where No Quote is available from the Health Fund, then Full payment is required at the time of Preparation/Final Impression. In this instance, a Receipt/Paid Invoice for Health Fund Reimbursement will be given at the time of Insertion for the patient to claim back directly from their health fund. Please note we do not process Hicaps and then provide refunds for the claim amount, but rather you claim this directly from your health fund.
Brisbane Smiles provides informed treatment plans, ensuring our patients will determine the correct treatment for them. The price or cost of Porcelain Veneers, Porcelain Crowns, Teeth Whitening, Examinations, Cleans, Dentures, Gumlift, Dental Implant Procedures will all be discussed during your initial examination or consultation appointment, before being provided in a written document before treatment is commenced.
Detailed cost estimates are provided to our patients during our treatment planning phases. It is our practice policy to engage patients in the planning of their treatments, and all patients are given a written financial schedule before we proceed with cosmetic treatment.
To assist with paying for dental treatment, Brisbane Smiles accepts payment for treatment performed at the time of treatment rather than a total payment before treatment is scheduled. When Dental Treatment involves a Laboratory component, such as Porcelain Crowns or Veneers, full payment is required at the time of tooth preparation with the exception of the health fund payment in instances the amount has been quoted and verified and must be claimed immediately prior to the insertion appointment on that day.
Patients are responsible for full payment including any circumstances that a Health Fund denies a claim. You will be given an invoice and can claim your rebate directly from your Health Fund.
