Concerned about Dental Costs? So are we! With so many different treatments and materials available, Dental Costs can be quite confusing to break down and understand which option is right for you. Searching the internet is not going to help you find the best answers to make an informed decision. During your Appointment our Dentists will explain the different cost options available. We offer various Payment Options and Plans.
Emergency Dental Cost – Our Emergency Dental Exam (limited exam) costs just $59 for the exam. X-Rays are usually required, and we estimate most dental emergencies required two x-rays which are $50 each.
Treatment Costs – Our Dentists will then provide you with Cost Estimates for treatment of your Dental Emergency.
Broken Teeth should be classified into three categories:
A tooth with chipped enamel may be sensitive to hot and cold and is generally a little rough to the tongue, or a chip on a front tooth is of a little concern. A chipped tooth can generally be polished smooth or repaired with a composite resin filling.
A broken tooth which exposes the dentine inside the tooth will require treatment with a composite resin filling or with a crown/onlay. This type of broken tooth may give sensitivity and should be assessed by a dentist asap.
A broken tooth which exposes the root canal of the tooth will usually be at risk of causing toothache. This type of broken tooth should be treated by a dentist as soon as possible as a toothache is likely imminent.
Teeth which are broken below the gum-line will usually need to be extracted. Our dentists are able to remove and replace a tooth using immediate dental implants.
Sensitive Teeth should be assessed by a dentist as tooth sensitvity is general a warning from the tooth that the integrity of the outside enamel of the tooth is not intact.
Sensitivity is usually the result of:
Various treatments for sensitive teeth are dependent on the actual cause of the tooth sensitivity.
Until such time you can seek the attention of a dentist we recommend cease using your normal toothpaste and swap to a sensitive toothpaste such as Colgate Sensitive or Sensodyne.
