The Brainchild Foundation is a national, not-for-profit charity that provides support to the families of Australian children diagnosed with brain and spinal cord tumours. The vision of the foundation is to provide support and a better tomorrow to the children and families affected by brain and spinal cord tumours while striving for a cure.
Brainchild Foundation’s mission is to provide emotional, financial and educational support to the families of children who have been diagnosed with tumours of the brain and spinal cord. Support is inclusive of emergency financial relief managed through hospital welfare, bereavement support, tutoring assistance for young people as they return to school after treatment, and family camps and respite that provide well-deserved fun for all.
The Swim Academy Brisbane recently swam to support The Brainchild Foundation. Well done to @theswimacademybrisbane who supported one of our patients along with his swim mates, swimming a mammoth 10km on Saturday to raise funds for @brainchildfoundationau.
